Are ATM withdrawal fees different for local and international locations?

ATM withdrawals come with a 2% withdrawal fee, whether you're at home or overseas. 
Do keep in mind that some ATM operators may charge their own fees on top of this. 
You'll see these displayed on the ATM screen before you confirm your transaction.
 
Fees to note:
- USD withdrawals: additional 1% transaction fee
- Non-USD withdrawals: additional 1.2% foreign exchange (FX) fee
